September 26, 2008// Lincoln, Neb.// Standard & Poor’s has affirmed the rating of AA- (Very Strong) with stable outlook for insurer financial strength for the UNIFI Insurance Group: Ameritas Life Insurance Corp., Lincoln, Neb.; The Union Central Life Insurance Company, Cincinnati, Ohio; First Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. of New York, Suffern, N.Y.; and Acacia Life Insurance Company, Bethesda, Md. This is the fourth highest of Standard & Poor's 21 ratings.
